We headed out to Utopia to celebrate Brent's birthday last weekend. What a perfect little getaway. Thanks Jerh and Emily for letting us stay at your casa. It was just what we needed!

This makes sense right? I have six more days of school left, which means NO TIME AT ALL. Why am I blogging? Oh, because "Procrastinator" is my middle name. I would just now realize that I haven't blogged about our life in FOREVER. I am surrounded by a stack of report cards, a stack of writing pieces that I've collect from each kiddo for the past nine months so that I can create an anthology of their writing, a stack of research projects that need to be glued onto card stock and laminated, a kitchen full of dirty dishes...the list goes on. My computer at school has about 5,000 photos on it that I will somehow turn into an iMovie in the next 6 days. Oh, and I have to plan splash day, game day, fuzzy friend reading day, and BRENT'S birthday all by...TOMORROW! Good thing I'm being productive now huh? Some how a glass of wine and these lovely images are much more appealing to me. Hey, you have to take time to smell the roses right? Life is way to short not to. These things make me smile and magically give me energy to get up and get busy! Okay, not it's your turn to sit and stare because I gots to go! Enjoy!

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harvey

On April 14, my other big brother got married!!! Jerheme's best friend, Joseph Harvey, married his beautiful bride, Crystal a couple of weeks ago. Their fall wedding was pushed up when Joseph's military orders were changed. I got to help Emily and Jerheme decorate their awesome new backyard for the big event. We had a ton of fun making sure all of the details were just perfect. THEN, I got to shoot my first wedding! Wow, did I learn A LOT! I sure am glad I got to practice on these two. They are picture perfect! Thanks for letting us be apart of your special day, Harvey's. We love you!

Two weekends ago I got to celebrate my dear friend, Allison's, wedding! She married a wonderful man, Christian, and threw an amazing party! We had a fun weekend in Austin being blessed by these two! Thanks for allowing me to be part of this wonderful event and your lives. Love you guys!
