What a perfect week for our Yuletide Camellia to start blooming. Well, I'm guess at the actual name of this plant, (like a lot of the plants that were here before us), but it looks exactly like the plant Teagan gave me for Christmas and I never knew what it was! I am probably wrong, and perhaps it should be called the Valentine Camellia! hehe. Anyway, It blooms right at this time of year and then looks like a plain green bush for the rest of the year. I LOVE how it looks right all bright and pink! It was swarming with bees today, so I just had to get out the camera and take a few shots. I wish it looked like this all year long!

I love to TWIRL my hair!

So Lisa is updating her TWIRL website and requested a picture or two for the wedding page! I am so excited that she wants my hair on her site! Of course she is amazing and helped make me look like a princess on our special day. These are the shots I sent her and I thought I'd post them in honor of us just wrapping up SIX AMAZING months of marriage. God is so good and we can't even give enough thanks to Him for all of the blessings so far. ;) PS- visit Lisa soon to see if one of these pictures is up!

Today was a fairytale

Yes, Brent finally agreed to dance to a Taylor Swift song on our wedding day. Thankfully our day was exactly that...a fairytale!Fireworks and all! Thank you to everyone who traveled near and far away to join us on our most special day. Thank you to all who had a hand in making it perfect for us. We will be forever grateful.

Thank you God for marriage! What a blessing it has already been. Brent and I have been back from our honeymoon for about 10 days and boy have we've been busy. We've completely cleaned out the house and have rearranged everything. We have a guestroom, hooray! The only thing we're needing now is a small wardrobe to put all of Brent's dress/work clothes in. I will post pictures of the house soon, but for now, enjoy a few of our favorite honeymoon shots!
