Champ and PW have had quite the long looks lately. With us being gone now at least 10 hours a day with school, these two fellas make us feel pretty guilty by the time we get home. Thankfully they love us no matter what and are quick to forgive. Champ was all smiles with Brent got home today!

Just in case anyone wants to know how amazing Brent is, let me just tell you. Besides the other 100 million ways he loves me and provides for our family, he wakes up at 5:30am to make us lunch and prepares this bad boy for supper!!! Deer roast with sweet potatoes, onions, green and red bell peppers and carrots. Boy did the house smell incredible when I got home at 5:00. LOVE HIM!

We headed down to Victoria last weekend to say hello to the family. We had a wonderful time! Brent helped Dad out on the ranch and I caught up with friends and family. Saturday night Dad fried some of the fish he caught and we brought some of the veggies we've grown (and some store bought). It made for one delicious meal!!

Okay so maybe Adobe Lightroom isn't exactly finger paint, but I'll go with it! Rarely does being a teacher get you any huge savings, but boy did I score on this one. Thankfully I could purchase this editing tool for a third of the price because I'm a teacher! Woohoo! Here you can see that I went crazy at Max's Haus and brought some super cute chairs. We needed more places for people to sit and these will be great for photo shoots. I also got some cool shots of Champer on our historic Faust Street bridge. Originally created in the 1880's and now it's restored and amazing.

happy labor day!

What an amazing and lazy day we had! We all got up between 6-7 (Brent to snorkel and me to walk the dog). We played at the river for a while and then came home by 9:00 for breakfast and hangout time. I had lunch with a great friend, Rachael, to pick her brain about photography. Then we got some time with Tony and Maureen and now Brent is at work. And, now I'm off to hang with more of our NB family to enjoy some burgers! Prince William wanted to say hello and also tell you to go and check out another blog he was featured in today.
