7 hours from Rapid to Cody

We left Rapid City right before lunch and made our way all the way to Cody, WY. We went through some pretty amazing scenery this afternoon. Half of our trip was tracking through the Bighorn National Forest and mountain range. Our favorite part was when we came upon Shell Creek which starts in the mountains by bursting through billion old layers of granite. We learned that this roaring creek eventually finds its way to the Mighty Mississippi and into the gulf! Crazy!!! We were racing a huge storm the entire time so the pics are pretty cool.
