new addition

I have a new toy and I LOVE it! I upgraded my camera to a newer body (not yet the full) and got a couple of new lenses to go with it. I was still using an entry level camera (and it is still incredibly good), but I wanted to take my photography up to the next level with some better glass and a sharper body. Thanks to Ben Mathews for letting me toy around with his so I could make my big decision. (Thanks to Ben period for introducing me to world of Nikon about five years ago! It all started when he would bring his cameras to school and I'd steal them to take photos of the kids. He finally told me to get my own, haha. Dad bought me the D40 Christmas of 2008 and the rest is history.) Here are some photos of Sydney. She came up to model for me so I could get some practice with my new tools!
