Reece is 18 months!

On September 13th, our little babe turned a year and a half old! He's learned so much the last three months since his last milestone month.

He had a great check up at the doctor's office. He's off the charts in height measuring 35 1/2 inches and he's in the 75% for weight at 28 pounds. He can say about 20 words along with lots of animals noises. While he doesn't always use his words a ton, he sure does talk our ears off still. He's super fast and I have to watch him like a hawk. He climbs very well and has incredible balance which equals no fear. I nearly have a heart attack each day at some of the stunts he pulls and he just laughs at me! He's back to battling seasonal allergies. He has a preventative inhaler he uses twice a day and then an emergency one for bigger issues. We're on some new meds so we are hoping we don't have to wipe his nose for the next six months! Please pray his little lungs continue to get stronger and that he doesn't battle any huge illnesses this winter.

He continues to love balls and is into his tee-ball and basketball sets. He is still obsessed with water and usually sits in his water table (we are so sad Schlitterbahn closed for the season). He enjoys riding his rocking horse, playing with cars/trains/tractors/trucks, and is really into farm animals. He just got a new toy barn set and is starting to have pretend play which is so fun to watch. His absolute favorite toy/book is his Busy Bible that the Urban's gave him for his baby dedication to the Lord. He plays with it every day for at least 20 minutes at a time, which is BY FAR the longest he's every played with anything. He loves to sort and categorize and put things in (what he thinks) is their rightful place! He also loves his real bible too and likes to read about David and Daniel. Something about rocks and lions that he is really into at the moment ;) Dancing and music still top the list of one of his favorite daily activities. He's got some rhythm and can feel the beat!

Reece can't get enough of his Mom and Dad. He is super attached to both of us. We've gone through some rough months of him not letting us out of his sight. I think he's starting to come out of it, thankfully. He doesn't cry long when we leave and has the best time with his grandparents! We'll have to see what happens come December, but I'm hoping that we are going to be fine. While it can be hard at times, I sure don't wish it to end.  I know there will be one day that he won't want to be seen with me at all (praying not!) so I'm soaking it all in!

That's about it for now. He's quite the little guy and we can't get enough of him!
