I've been bad about posting lately, so sorry! You all know how August goes for us Jacobsons. Anyway, here are just a few random pictures I've taken when we are out and about. Hopefully my next post will be of some super cute Kindergartners. Ah, two days!

2Tarts

If you're ever in New Braunfels,  you'll need to stop by 2Tarts Bakery and pick up a treat. These talented gals had a fun Ladies Night where three lucky winners received a makeover and a small photo shoot. I was pretty shocked when they called me to come grab some shots! Of course their go-to photographers couldn't make it, so they started calling around and found me. It was tons of fun, check it out! (A big thank you to Rachael Hall Photography for mentioning my name, and thanks to Ashlee Newman Photography a fun night as well ;)

Check out my latest Shutterfly steal. I had several coupons to use, so I thought I would make a photo card to hand out. My friends have been super generous by giving me amazing gift cards after snapping shots of their families, so I guess they really do like my work! Now that I am getting a little more confident, I'm going to try and get some business from outside our close circle of friends. Totally baby steps here, but I just love capturing smiles and it'll give me something to do while Brent works at Myrons :)

shooting deer

While Brent actually shoots the deer and provides us with yummy food all winter long, I like to sit in photo blinds on the King Ranch and shoot deer with my camera! We went down to visit my Uncle Tom last weekend for our last summer adventure. We rode around the ranch for hours and hours getting lots of history from our personal tour guide. We had fun helping patch fence, chase cows out of pens, and stayed up way too long chatting and playing with the pups. Here are a couple of fun animals we got to watch play. Thanks Uncle Tom!
