reading lesson

Aunt Molly didn't have to do her summer tutoring since she got to come and play with me! However, I thought she still needed to do some work. I asked her what I could start doing to prepare for Kindergarten. She said Mom and Dad were already doing an awesome job by reading to me every day and buying me fun things like my Dr. Seuss flip chart! We spent lots of time reading and working with letter and words and then Aunt Molly put some music on! She gave me mom's towels and told me to dance with them because crossing the mid-line of my body would help my brain develop really well and I'd be an even better reader some day! That was tons of fun. I sure so love to learn!

see my new flip chart

I'm doing a word search. Long toes come in super handy when I don't want to use my hands!

okay, I'm I did my word work and now I'm ready to read

I know how to hold the book the right way and turn the pages!

time out- I have to find this baby's belly button real fast

dance time

this is fun! I'm getting the hang of it!

a little easier with one prop

maybe I should actually help mom clean the floor while she's gone

reading work is fun but it sure it tiring!
