Just a quick update on what I'm doing now that I'm nine months old....okay, nearly 10 months! Back on December 13, my mom took all of these pictures of me. I sure had fun running away from her and quickly eating every leaf, stick, rock, and mud pile I could find. I heard her say she could no longer take pictures of me without Daddy's help. I guess I'm just too fast for her fancy camera!
Anyway, as you can see I'm a pretty fast kid. I love to walk and am getting close to running! I took my first real steps a little over a week after I turned eight months old. I LOVE to play with my toy balls. Champer gets pretty confused these days because when Mom tells me to get my ball, he goes and gets it. Then he gets in trouble. I don't mind sharing with him but apparently Mom thinks his mouth is too dirty to play with my balls. I then try to throw him his ball, but it winds up in my mouth somehow and Mom doesn't like that either. Mom's not that fun sometimes.
I'm eating up a storm these days. I love pretty much anything my parents give me. Nannie even brought me some lentils and I couldn't get enough of those! Mom let me try strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. Since I didn't have an allergic reaction, I get them lots now. I love beef, chicken, venison, turkey, sweet potatoes, avocado, peas, carrots, pasta, yogurt, squash, bread, cheerios, oatmeal and lots more. I even ate Auntie Em Kale chips. YUM!
I love to say Da-da (I'm not always talking about my dad though), dog, cat and meow. I have fun clapping my hands and I am working on waving hello and goodbye. I LOVE my little blankie and can't sleep without it. I've also learned how to nap much better during the day. I still sleep 12 hours at night and get two one and half hour naps in. Mom is extremely thankful for that.
What else? Oh yah- Dr. Rieger said I was doing really well on my nine month check up. I weighed 23 pounds and am 30 inches tall. That means I got to buy a fun new car seat. I am such a big boy!
Well, I believe that's it for now. I'll be back in a couple months to report on my ONE YEAR mark milestones!
