Reece's first Christmas

What a special day. The first time our babe got to celebrate the most precious babe of all time. We had a blast helping him open his gifts and playing with his new toys. We had a lot of presents from all of our family members since we didn't get to see anyone before the big day. Brent had the day off and we stayed in our pajamas literally all day until about 5:00pm. I insisted that we had a family date to visit the downtown Christmas tree since we hadn't gotten to do so yet. Before Reece came along, we would walk and sit under the gazebo each year around this time. We'd get hot chocolate and listen to the music being played. So we threw on some warm clothes, grabbed our warm drinks, and introduced Reece to the best little downtown adventure we know. He loved the lights and couldn't get enough of...you guessed it- the leaves ;) Merry Chrismtas to us.

I made our stockings from the burlap table settings we used for our wedding. Reece's R was sewn on in about ten minutes (obviously by hand) the night before Santa would come. I'll probably try and re-do it next year. The ribbon I used didn't lay as pretty as the ribbon did for ours. At least he had one!

Best stocking stuffer ever- His first toothbrush!!

My yearly ornament. This year it was from Reece. A snowman that says "I love Mom!" tears ;)

Santa left Reece's toys in this really cool blue toy sack. We loved it! Our Elf must have taken it back to him because we don't know where it is now. Hopefully it will return next year full of new toys!

Just playing around and trying to get a family photo!

Don't focus on what is in the mirror, please ;) Just notice the little holiday cheer around it!

                                                                    My little man
Guess who took this picture? Uncle Jerh's football coach friend Stew Krisch and his wife! So nice to live in a small town and know everyone..well not everyone...!
