Our little Prince

I mean seriously, how many one year photo sessions does a kid need? Well, with this kid you have to work fast or you have to try, try again. Plus when your mom is a photographer and she's always busy taking every other kid's picture, she gets a little crazy at milestone time. The plan was to have Ashlee take our pictures on a sunny Saturday in March. Brent was going to be home and we had it all planned. Then, Brent's dear grandpa took a turn for the worse and Brent decided to drive over night to Nebraska to visit.

Even though we'd no longer be doing family photos on that particular, I still really needed Ashlee to take pictures of Reece in time for his birthday party! I guess I could have done them, but he refuses to look at me, puts everything in his mouth, and is usually covered in dirt in about 2 minutes of being outside. So I needed help and with Brent always gone I kept our session! Ashlee and I chased Reece around for about 15 minutes and tried our best to get him to be still. Man, this girl is good. I have no idea how she got these shots! We weren't able to connect again due to life's crazy timing, thus all of the amazing Anne Marie photos I've posted. So, I promise this is the last post of pictures dedicated to Reece's 12 month mark ;)
