3 months

Hi Guys!

I'm already three months old. Since my mom hasn't gotten on our blog to update you on all my milestones, I figured I'd have to. She's not slackin', she's just having way too much fun with me to keep up with all that other stuff you bloggers do!

I don't go back to that mean place where they stuck me with a needle and made me cry for a few more weeks. (I really don't want to go back there ever again, but mom says I have to.)  So, I'm not super sure how "big" I am, but a couple weeks ago when I was at Mammaw and Papppaw's house I weighed 17 pounds. Then Mom measured me when I was playing and I was running sooo fast, but she said something about being almost 27 inches long, so who knows. We'll find out in a few weeks.

Mom thinks I'm so big and strong because Dad brought home Myron's cream spinach and mashed potatoes four nights a week when I was growing in her belly. Mom would eat it right before bed time. (She's eating more right now as I type this!!) There's some sailor dude named Popeye that is apparently really strong due to eating spinach, so I guess I'll be like him.

Anyway, so I'm probably at least 18lbs and 26" now. I wear size three pampers and  6-9 month clothing. I'm trying to hurry up and get big so I can throw Champer his ball and swim with him in the river. Mom says I need to slow down because I'll have plenty of time for that later. Plus, I think her arm and back hurt. Sorry, Mom. Soon I can carry you!

I LOVE to smile and laugh. Next time you see me just say something funny and I promise I'll give you a huge smile. I have many tickle spots too. You won't have trouble finding them. I love my monkey, Sophie, my lamby,  books, Praise Baby music, bath time, the Bumbo, and my fingers and thumbs. I would rather stand on your lap than anything else, but I do get plenty of tummy and "running" time too. I hold my head up high and apparently I'm super aware of things, whatever that means.

I started sleeping through the night a couple nights ago. I haven't decided if I'll make it a habit yet or if I'm just playing a joke on Mom and Dad. I'm sure mom will let you know either way here soon. If she forgets, I'll tell you after my four month well visit.

Well, that's all for now. It's time for my dream feed (that's when I'm dreaming and dad gives me a bottle. Thanks, Dad!! ) and then I gotta clock about 7 more hours in the crib!

Thanks for checkin' in with us Jacobsons.

Love,
Reecer J
